Lexmark X4975ve Pro Ink Replacement Guide

  1. Plug the machine into the power source and turn it on.
  2. Open the scanner cover. This will automatically move the ink cartridge carrier ready for cartridge installation.
  3. Press down on the lever to raise the cartridge lid then you can unload the used cartridge.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave's Lexmark X4975ve ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges.
  5. Remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color and the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  6. Install the Lexmark X4975ve ink cartridges on their respective slot. Black cartridge at the left-hand side, and color cartridge at the right-hand side.
  7. Close the ink holder cover and the scanner lid.
  8. You can now start doing the Page Alignment test.
