How can I prolong the life of my cartridge?

Keep the cartridge in its original packaging and out of direct sunlight until you're about to install it. Air absorption and Ink evaporation can lead to a damaged or clogged cartridge and a change in ink mixture. It would also be best if you also shut down your printer when you're not using it.
