How can we help you?

No ink/poor print quality (Includes most Dell, HP, Lexmark, and Sharp models)

  1. Make that the printhead's tape has been removed.
  2. Using a paper towel to wrap the cartridge, gently shake it up and down (not side to side) six times.
  3. Before using the cartridge, let it stand upright for a while. The cartridge printhead should then be placed on a damp paper towel that has been folded into quarters. For three minutes, hold the cartridge against the wet paper towel. The printheads' ink will be removed, primed, and they will be prepared to print as a result. Apply rubbing alcohol to the printhead to clean it. Install the cartridge into your printer and print a few test pages to complete the process.
  4. Please raise the printer's darkness setting and confirm that the printer is online (on the computer screen).
  5. Make use of a warm, damp paper towel to clean the printhead. Reinstall it into the printer, then use the printer's software tool to conduct a cleaning cycle.
  6. Using a paper towel to wrap the cartridge, gently shake it up and down (not side to side) six times.
  7. For a few minutes, submerge the cartridge in warm water that is between 1/4 and 1/2 inch deep. Take the cartridge out of the water when ink begins to drip subtly, then dry it with a delicate towel or cotton swab. Put it back in your printer after which you should use the printhead cleaning program provided by your printer's software. 2-4 times may be required before the printing quality is restored.
  8. Keep your fingers away from the electrical printhead and chip connections. When you observe horizontal color bars that are clearly visible, slide the printhead across a wet paper towel. Apply rubbing alcohol to the printhead to clean it. Run a head cleaning cycle after reinstalling.
  9. Please execute the "print head clean" command from the printer's "maintenance" menu. By doing so, you can force out any air bubbles or dried ink on the printhead and restore regular printing.
  10. Please have your printer run through the alignment test once more if your printed still contains white lines or streaks.
