How should I handle cartridges with orange or yellow tape?
Before installing the cartridge, make sure the yellow/orange tape has been completely removed. Ineffective tape removal could result in subpar printing, missing colors, or no printing at all. It should be noted that this troubleshooting only applies to cartridges with a top-pullable yellow or orange tape.
